TUFFLEX “RFG” is a composite Fiber Glass Filament Reinforcing Mat.  It is a combination of glass, polyester binder resin and silane. It is used to reinforce TUFFLEX urethane deck coatings in high-stress areas and TUFFLEX Epoxy Resins in those areas in need of increased impact resistance. While the chemical and thermal properties of TUFFLEX “RFG” Reinforcing Fabric are essentially those of glass, the product’s hydraulic overlapping of fibers endows it with an extraordinary combination of unique physical and performance properties when encapsulated in TUFFLEX polyurethane membranes or epoxy resins.

In high performance roof coating applications, TUFFLEX “RFG” is the preferred reinforcing fabric because the non-woven interstitial openings allows the impregnating polyurethane membrane or epoxy resin a better chance to key through the fabric to form the important bond.  When properly impregnated with the Elasta-Tuff 5000 or TUFFLEX Standard Outdoor “RBC” polyurethane membranes there is formed a non-hydroscopic, lightweight, high tear strength, multi-directional fabric reinforced waterproofing system which will not rot and is highly resistant to abrasion.

TUFFLEX International, Inc. (TUFFLEX INT’L) warrants this product to be free of defects in workmanship and materials only at the time of shipment from our factory.  If any TUFFLEX INT’L materials prove to contain manufacturing defects that substantially affect their performance, TUFFLEX INT’L will, at its option, replace the materials or refund its purchase price.

This limited warranty is the only warranty extended by TUFFLEX INT’L with respect to its materials. There are no other warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. TUFFLEX INT’L specifically disclaims liability for any incidental, consequential, or other damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits or damages to a structure or its contents, arising under any theory of law whatsoever.

The dollar value of TUFFLEX INT’L’S liability and buyer’s remedy under this limited warranty shall not exceed the purchase price of the TUFFLEX INT’L material in question.
